I believe in the power of everyday objects to make life more enjoyable. I am interested in the historical function pots have in society through the rituals of food and drink, and how pots shape people and people shape pots. Whether it’s baking in a vessel, eating from a your favorite bowl, or sharing drinks with friends, these intimate interactions with clay can intensify one’s day or encourage one to contemplate the beauty of utilitariansim.
