While I’m inherently drawn to precision and control in my work, I’ve come to embrace the beauty of spontaneity and serendipity. By surrendering a measure of control to the kiln, each piece takes on a life of its own, emerging as singular and with unrepeatable entities. This is evident in the dance of black graphic lines mingling with cobalt in the fluid glaze, the various color combinations, and the organic drips that emerge in the firing process.
