Artist's Bio
Monica Ripley received her MFA from the University of Nebraska. She was Mudflat's Artist-in-Residence for 2003-04. Monica's wheelthrown porcelain is influenced by historic European ceramics and silver, and by her interest in Chinese ceramics. Monica is a recipient of a 2004 Somerville Arts Council Artist Fellowship grant. Her work was included in the juried show "The State of Clay, 2007".
