(Short-Term Residencies occur between September 1st – May 1st, annually)
The Short-Term Residency is ideal for ceramic artists working to invest in their personal studio practice, complete a special project, or that simply need uninterrupted time to work in a well-equipped Studio and a supportive community environment. We accept applications from students (BA/BFA/MFA), professional artists, and educators for residency periods lasting 2-12 weeks. In addition, we provide a fully furnished, well-appointed house with private rooms and a large kitchen that is close to Red Lodge’s amenities, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Short-term residents will be responsible for Residency Fees, all travel, personal living expenses, as well as material and firing expenses. Keep in mind that the Studio facility is 6 miles north of Resident Housing and residents will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the studio.
