Advanced Student Project Network – ASPN – Red Lodge Clay Center

Advanced Student Project Network – ASPN

APPLICATION BY INVITATION

(ASPN Residency occurs in May/June annually)

This residency provides young artists currently enrolled in BA or BFA programs with a place to explore new ideas, exchange techniques, and deepen their professional development in ceramics within a group of peers. Over 40 Universities and Colleges from across the US are invited to nominate individual students for the ASPN residency. These students are juried by a committee comprised of RLCC staff and one invited juror chosen by RLCC annually. At the conclusion of the jurying period, five nominees of the 40+ applicants are selected and will be invited to join the Red Lodge Clay Center for a three-week Artist-in-Residency starting in mid-May. Each year, our guest juror is a nationally distinguished faculty member and/or Artist that will also attend the Residency period as a mentor working alongside the selected ASPN residents.
