Curatorial Statement

Vibrant is an exhibition guest curated by Stefani Threet, ceramic artist, mentor, and community organizer based in West Philadelphia. Stefani includes black and brown artists who make utilitarian ceramic works that highlight how color becomes both a personal and cultural language, shaping narratives of identity and belonging. Together, these works reveal a shared creative lineage that binds artists in community while celebrating their distinct voices.
Participating artists include Rich Brown, Laura Caroline Casas, Delvin Goode, Nikki Lau, Marcè Nixon-Washington, Stephen Phillips, and George Rodriguez.
