I have developed my voice with pottery through trial and error and the admiration for process. My influences stem mostly from the inherent quality of clay to be shaped. As a natural material I find it necessary to reference nature and landscape and develop my work by layering technique with concept and form. I most often choose the vessel to express these ideas and find it to be a genuine object that connects all of us to history.
