“Through the use of ornate hand-built vessels, designer Slip cast pieces, and functional objects I create a representation of my existence as a gay male. I craft objects that are both functional and decorative – the objects are not always functional in the traditional craft sense of the word. Instead they function specifically within queer fringe culture.”- Ronan
